Due to the nature of classic cars and their reliance on aging technology, there will always be certain components that require regular servicing, repairs, or maintenance. To ensure transparency and vehicle readiness prior to sale, our pre-sale inspection includes the following steps:

1. Full Undercarriage Inspection
The vehicle is placed on a lift for a thorough examination of the underbody, with checks for rust, structural integrity, and general wear.

2. General Mechanical Inspection
A broad inspection covering key mechanical systems, including engine components, brakes, suspension, and drivetrain.

3. Adjustment & Lubrication
We will tighten any loose fittings and apply grease to lubrication points as required, ensuring smoother operation and presentation.

4. Cleaning of Oil Residue
Visible oil leaks from the underside of the engine or gearbox will be cleaned to ensure a tidy appearance and accurate mechanical assessment. 

5. Battery Status / Non-Starting Vehicles
Non-starting vehicles, often due to battery issues, can leave a negative first impression. As part of our onboarding, we perform a battery health check and include the results in your report. Should the battery require replacement, we will contact you to discuss the next steps and obtain your approval before proceeding. 

6. Pre-Sale Mechanical checks
If we identify any major mechanical, structural, paint/ rust issues or other defects that may affect the vehicle's sale price, we will provide you with a detailed list and discuss repair options. A separate quote for any recommended work will be provided.
